Hi, I'm Elle. This is my blog.

I'm a geek, a cat lover, a gardener, an armchair physicist, a fairly good cook, a not too bad web designer/programmer, a pretty bad photographer, a useless psychic, and a terrible, terrible knitter.

I like math, and Star Trek, and have watched the LOTR Trilogy more times than there are numbers. I totally dig John Woo, and have seen just about every Luc Besson flick, ever. In my head, I know kung-fu. In real life, not so much.

I have a degree in Psychology, and another in Chemisty, and I put them both to good use by touring with rock bands. I ran an independent record label for 10 years. You can still buy stuff, but I haven't released anything since 2008. Now I mostly make websites for friends and cook and sew stuff.

I believe in the universal interconnectedness of all things. I am greatly comforted by symmetry, and the color green. If anyone were insane enough to make a movie of my life, it would have to be a musical, and there would probably be tap dancing. I seem to be genetically predisposed to journey over destination. I am a danger to myself and others in a laboratory setting. I am generally a danger only to myself in the kitchen.

As you've probably already surmised, I speak elle-language, and live by elle-rules. There's the right way, and then there's the elle-way. I can't help it, I was just born that way.

If you have any questions, you can contact me . I also tweet, and kinda sorta do the facebook thing.
